Mari-Jan moved to Pennsylvania from Maryland and is enjoying the new experiences of living in a less populated more rural setting and has thoroughly enjoyed becoming a part of the In Him team, in Shrewsbury.

As a Senior Chaplain, she has been trained in trauma care and crisis response as well as specializing in grief and loss. She has been providing pastoral care and counseling for over 18 years and has experience working with a wide range of issues which include but are not limited to women’s issues, anxiety, depression, and other life issues. Her approach in counseling is a holistic approach which treats the spirit soul and body.

She has created a variety of tools to facilitate an integrated approach of healing, for her clients. She also has produced Sanctuary, a group of recordings that aid in experiencing God’s rest, relaxation, and mindfulness, as well as helping one to experience the presence of God. She has a passion for creating retreats and workshops designed to minister to the body of Christ, and for healing in ways that cannot be addressed fully in the counseling setting.

Mari-Jan enjoys refinishing furniture, interior design, antiquing, and playing with her new granddaughter. She cherishes time with her family and friends. Mari-Jan and her husband are empty nesters and take pleasure in sharing their home with their well-loved pup, Sophie.
