In Him Christian Wellness provides compassionate counseling and wellness services—serving South Central PA and Harrisonburg, VA—for individuals, couples, families, and children through both biblical and clinical approaches.

Our Carlisle site is located within New Life Community Church in downtown Carlisle. Rooms are set up for traditional counseling and are able to accommodate integrated services.
Lemoyne, PA

Our Lemoyne location is a traditional office building in which rooms are equipped for traditional counseling but can also accommodate creative arts, play therapy, movement, nutrition, and financial counseling.

Our Shrewsbury site is located within The York Regional Dream Center at Grace Fellowship Church Shrewsbury. Visit us between The Harvest Food Center and The Lord’s Gym, a few doors down from the main Church entrance.

Our Halifax location is provided by Cornerstone Counseling Ministry and is conveniently located just behind the high school. This accessible space comfortably accommodates individual, group, and family counseling sessions.

Our Harrisonburg site is led by the founder of In Him Christian Wellness. This new location expands our counseling services to individuals, couples, and families in the Harrisonburg community.

Located inside of The Office-Alternative is our safe, private office in a shared workspace that is easily accessible to Downtown York.

We walk alongside you toward wholeness using a client-centered strategy, regardless of faith beliefs or practices, that honors your dignity and worth. We work to create a safe space where growth occurs at your own pace.
Clients partner with us in setting goals, developing treatment plans, and directing their healing journey. Lasting change happens when you feel empowered and heard within a supportive therapeutic relationship.
Our Foundation
We believe all wisdom flows from God and recognize Jesus Christ as the Wonderful Counselor. We offer Christian counseling using scripture and prayer for those who desire it, integrating biblical truth with clinical insights from evidence-based methodologies. We work with you to determine what feels most helpful. We believe that Christianity encompasses a wide range of expressions of faith, all of which are foundational on the message of the Gospel, which is in our Statement of Faith. Biblical Counseling
All of our clinicians offer faith-based services, but we also have clinicians who are specifically trained in Biblical Counseling. This differs from traditional counseling in that it takes a theological approach to addressing your wellness needs, identifying and addressing your challenges from a soul level.
Counseling
for Children
If you are a parent or guardian considering counseling for children 13 and under, we begin the process with a parent consultation to determine if counseling or other services are the best fit for your child’s needs. Please review our Welcome Letter for information about our parent consultation process and approach.
Wellness Services
At In Him, we understand that the mind, body, and spirit of a person are all connected.
With this approach, our Wellness Services seek to provide support to the whole person.
Our wellness professionals will help you to identify goals for your well-being and offer practical ways to incorporate healthy rhythms into your entire life. Each wellness service can be added to your counseling experience or sought out on an individual basis.
