David considers it a sacred privilege to walk alongside adults, both individuals and couples, as they navigate life's challenges. He believes that hope is always possible, and that every person deserves to be met with dignity and compassion. David's counseling philosophy is rooted in the conviction that healing and growth flourish within a warm, welcoming, and genuinely nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship.

David has served in professional pastoral ministry for nearly twenty years and currently serves as a full-time worship pastor at a local church. He earned a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Master of Arts in Counseling from Messiah University.

David practices from a person-centered framework, integrating evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and existential therapy. Faith integration can be utilized when desired, including contemplative Christian practices.

Outside the counseling office, David enjoys spending time with his wife and son, hiking and backpacking, and watching baseball. Whether serving as a counselor, pastor, or musician, he is passionate about helping others grow by embracing the beauty and mystery of God.
