Development Director
Purpose:
In Him Christian Wellness provides faith-based, holistic counseling and wellness services for all in need.
Position Objective:
The Development Director will be responsible for managing donations and fundraising efforts for the financial stability and growth of IHCW.
Position Responsibilities:
The Development Director is responsible to produce consistent results in the following Key Result Areas:
Donor Relationship Development
This Area will be determined as successful when:
● Donor relationships are nurtured and maintained through each donor’s preferred methods.
● Efforts are made to develop new relationships with prospective donors.
● Donor relationships result in consistent increases in overall giving.
● Donors are appreciated and understand the impact of their giving.
● Innovative strategies are carried out to increase donor engagement and participation.
Annual fundraising goals are set and assessed in partnership with Executive Director.
Event & Campaign Management
This Area will be determined as successful when:
● Two fundraising events and the Christmas campaign are held and maintained annually which increase the network and revenue for IHCW.
● Mission, vision, values, and goals of IHCW are upheld and communicated in a clear and compelling manner.
● Teams of staff, volunteers, and board members are given clear and appropriate direction to support the success of the campaign or event.
● Participants, donors, sponsors and vendors are treated with dignity, gratitude, and respect.
● Other streams of revenue are secured including grants, corporate sponsorships,
partnerships and product development, alongside the Executive Director.
Finance & Impact Reporting
This Area will be determined as successful when:
● Donations and other revenue streams are tracked and reported monthly to accounting firm.
● All donor information, gifts, reports, and touch points are kept up to date in database.
● Donors and other interested parties experience transparency through annual reports.
● Donors are given opportunities to understand and engage with the impact of their giving through client testimonials and impact data.
Team Development & Staff Support
This Area will be determined as successful when:
● Vision & Strategy Team receives collaborative development and fundraising support that promotes the mission of In Him.
● Staff have a clear understanding of their roles and experience thriving within the context of IHCW as pertains to development and fundraising.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 per hour
